An international faculty Like No Other
Welcome to “Si parla, si canta!”.
My name is Federico Sacchi and I am the artistic and executive director of SPSC.
I am a bass and I have been singing for over 20 years in European Opera houses such as Opernhaus Zurich, Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Berliner Philarmoniker, Oper Frankfurt and many, many others. I started working at SPSC in 2010, at the invitation of founder M. Benton Hess. I was immediately fascinated by this incredible program, especially by its unique approach to language and opera. Over the years I have been teaching young singers coming from all continents: from beginners to professionals, from soprano leggero to basso profondo, in conservatories, universities, opera houses and summer programs, I count more than 500 students.
It’s always with great excitement that I salute opportunities to meet new artists!
